PLANS FOR THE ROYAL WEDDING AT WINDSOR

On Saturday, May 19th, American actress, Meghan Markle will wed Prince Harry in the wedding of the year at St. George’s Chapel, Windsor.

One of the most eagerly awaited aspects of the royal wedding will be the guest list and who will and won’t be there. One thing for sure is that Ms Markle’s half-brother Thomas certainly won’t be after his extraordinary open letter to the groom was published around the world!

So far we do know that Prince William will be the best man reciprocating the role Prince Harry did at the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s own wedding in 2011.

In April the couple chose internationally renowned Alex Lubomirski to be the official photographer for the wedding. Alex had previously taken the official engagement photos last year.

There is an Australian connection to the royal wedding with the designers of Ms Markle’s stunning $180,000 wedding dress revealed. It has been reported that the Royal bride will walk down the aisle in a hand-stitched gown by London-based Australian fashion designers Ralph & Russo. Ms Markle will reportedly wear the gown during the service and at a reception in St George’s Hall, Windsor Castle, afterwards.

All the arrangements for the big day including viewing times and the order of events for the whole lead up are contained in this extensive town and country magazine article. The estimated viewing audience is expected to be in the range of one billion worldwide!
